Silicon North Stars is an one-week program focused on giving a select group of high-potential eighth and ninth graders from Minnesota the opportunity to spend a week in California's Silicon Valley, learning about technology and the Internet directly from some of the top tech companies and startups in the world. The students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds, but share a passion for technology and the web — and a desire to one day pursue a career in those fields. The name is meant to evoke the combination of Silicon Valley's unique culture of innovation, and Minnesota's state motto, "L'Etoil du Nord", or "Star of the North." We believe each of our students are stars and hope this experience will give them new opportunities to shine! Learn more about the Silicon North Stars youth program.
